HAVANA, Cuba, July 30 (ACN) As part of his official visit to Iran, Cuban PM, Manuel Marrero, met today with Mohamad Reza Aref, first vice president of that nation.
The meeting of the Cuban delegation with the senior Iranian official took place during their second day of work in Tehran, where they will also participate in the inauguration ceremony of the elected president, Masoud Pezeshkian.
Marrero Cruz, at the head of the Cuban representation, arrived in Iran on Monday on his first official visit, which coincides with the 45th anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic ties between the two nations (August 8, 1979).
The work program of Cuban the head of Government, which will extend until August 1, includes meetings with authorities, representatives of the solidarity movements with Cuba and members of the state mission.
