Cuban Deputy Premier Winds up Visit to Belarus

Havana, April 12 (ACN) Cuban deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas wound up a visit to Belarus after participating at the 11th Session of the Cuba-Belarus Joint Intergovernmental Commission for economic and commercial cooperation.

Before leaving the capital Minsk, Cabrisas met with the president of Council of the Republic of Belarus’ National Assembly Natalaia Kochanova. Both officials reviewed major aspects related to bilateral links and the results of the recently concluded session.

Cabrisas conveyed greetings from the president of the Cuban Parliament, Esteban Lazo, and the two officials agreed to further boost bilateral relations of friendship and solidarity.

The brief visit by Cabrisas to Belarus included talks with Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and cabinet members. Such talks ratified the commitment of Cuba and Belarus to keep developing economic, commercial, financial and cooperation relations.
