HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 12 (acn) The Foreign Ministry of the State of Palestine strongly condemns the murder of minister Ziad Abu Ein and considers it one more crime by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and Tel Aviv´s disrespect for international law.
In a communiqué published through the Palestinian embassy in Havana, the foreign office explains that Israeli occupation forces murdered Ziad Abu Ein, one of the leaders of unarmed resistance.
The crime took place when Israeli soldiers bit Abu Ein in his chest several times as he participated in peaceful olive planting activity near Ramallah city, the communiqué explains.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has alerted for a long time now about the barbaric repression by Israel against peaceful demonstrations, which have claimed the lives of hundreds of activists. The murder of Abu Ein discloses the overpowering of the Israeli State as it leads its occupation army to carry out open terrorism against the Palestinian people, reads the communiqué.
The Palestinian Ministry directly holds responsible of this event the government of Israel headed by Netanyahu and adds that it will take the case to international forums while it is committed before the Palestinian people that Israel will pay for this crime.
