HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 25 (acn) Sports exchanges, the setting up of training bases fpr athletes and extending cooperation in the sector, were among the topics discussed by the Russian Sports Minister Vitali Mutkó and Cuban Ambassador Emilio Lozada.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Sports Ministry in Moscow, where the two officials expressed their respective governments' willingness to increase cooperation in this field.
The Cuban Ambassador to Moscow noted sports are a priority in the social policy of Cuba, and both parties agreed on the importance of the physical activity not only to compete but to raise the quality of life and social welfare of the people.
