Cuban sets new world record in ball control

HAVANA, Cuba , Mar 21 (acn) Cuban Erick Hernandez set a new world record in ball control when hitting the ball 362 times with his head while standing in a minute.

In his usual venue for these attempts, the Copacabana hotel, Erick beat his previous world record (350 impacts in 60 seconds), one of his records approved by the Guinness book.
The Cuban athlete will try to set two other world records this year, including the one hitting the ball more time with his head in the sitting position.
Erick, who is almost 50 and has set similar amount of world records since 1994, has proven to be in excellent physical condition to compete against his possibilities.
