Yan Carlos Arias takes the lead in Cuban cycling tour

CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, Feb 23 (acn) Yan Carlos Arias, from Las Tunas, wears for the third time the leader's jersey in the third edition of the Guantánamo-Pinar- Havana cycling tour, which runs today its seventh stage.

The 81 riders involved in the competition will cover today the seventh stage with starting line at José Martí Park, in this city, up to Sancti Spiritus town.
The stretch of 167 kilometers has intermediate sprints in Jatibonico, Sancti Spiritus and Trinidad, and two KOM awards in El Mirador and Topes de Collantes, where a hard-fought struggle is predicted as the persecutors of Arias are superior to him in the climbs.
