Record in Cuban baseball: 26 walks in a game

SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Sep 21 (acn) A new negative record of 26 walks, 13 by each team, was set in the Cuban baseball championship in the match where Villa Clara beat 10-5 Artemisa.

The previous record (24) was set 28 years ago by the sides of Cienfuegos and Henequeneros in the city of Cardenas, Matanzas.
This was Villa Clara's second victory over Artemisa and now totals nine wins and eight losses, tied with Matanzas, Las Tunas, Guantanamo and Cienfuegos, with real aspirations of qualifying to the final stage of the contest.
