Cuba-Algeria for places 17 to 24 at U-19 Volleyball World Championship

HAVANA, Cuba, July 30 (ACN) The Cuban men's national team will play Algeria today in the first match for the places 17 to 24 of the U-19 Volleyball World Championship, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The Cubans finished sixth and last in Group D with five losses and one point, whereas the Algerians were fifth in Group B with one win and three points.

Team Cuba lost South Korea (0-3, U.S.A. (1-3), Finland (0-3), Colombia (2-3) and Brazil (0-3).
