Cuba to Host International Underwater Photography Contest

HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 20 (acn) Capturing beautiful seabed images of the Guanahacabibes Peninsula will be the challenge of those competing in the International Underwater Photography Contest, Imasub 2015, scheduled for June 8-13.

The venue of this contest will once again be the Maria la Gorda Diving Center of western Pinar del Rio province, located in that Biosphere Reserve, in which photography and diving lovers of Cuba and other parts of the world can participate in the categories of fauna, environment, environment with model and macro.
Met with tour operators, travel agents and journalists, Frank Pais, vice-president of marketing of the Gaviota Tourism Group, highlighted that for this 5th edition of the Contest they expect to break the record of attendance of national and international divers. For whim an attractive tourist offer has been prepared.
Each participant will select three photos n each category, according to the jury headed by prestigious Cuban photographer Julio Larramandi.
