HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 16 (acn) Cuban Leinier Domínguez debuted with a draw in the Tbilisi Chess Grand Prix, in Georgia, a day where there were also four wins.
Leinier (2726 Elo points) faced with white pieces Azerbaijani Teimour Radjabov (2731) and agreed peace in 31 moves of a Spanish opening though according to analysis of computer software he always showed slight advantage.
The initial wins of this fourth phase went to Dutch Anish Giri (2797), Russians Alexander Grischuk (2810) and Evgeny Tomashvesky (2737) and Azeri Shakriyar Mamedyarov (2759).

This event brings together 12 of the 16 players involved in the series, and is disputed to one round of the Swiss system and it is the penultimate stage of the current cycle.
Andreikin leads the standings with 190 points and Leinier appears last with only 10 after a discreet performance in Baku, Azerbiajan, but he still has to attend the final event to be held in the Russian city of Kant and-Mansiysk.
