Cuban Pitcher Bicet Reaches 100 Victories in Serie Nacional

HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 22 (acn) Alberto Bicet reached 100 wins in National Series to lead Industriales winning 5-4 over Holguín, result that consolidated the Havana team in the third seat of the Cuban baseball championship.

Bicet, now as reinforcement of Industriales, achieved this feat after allowing one earned run and 10 hits in seven innings, supported by save of Yohandri Portal.

Yulieski Gourriel hit a double and drove in two runs to command the offensive of the winners, while Yordan Batista and Yunior Paumier homered for the cause of the Holguin Hounds, and the ace Norge Luis Ruiz took the loss.
