HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 9 (acn) Cuban men's team defeated the Dominican Republic in the fourth day of the preliminaries of the 2nd Under 23 Pan American Volleyball Cup, which takes place in the Sports City Coliseum, in Havana.
According to the website of the contest, Cubans beat 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-22) the Dominicans, highlighting Osmani Uriarte, top scorer of the match with 15 points.
In Wednesday's other matches, Mexico and Guatemala beat 3-0 and 3-1 Trinidad and Tobago and El Salvador, respectively.
Today is the last date of the preliminary phase with the games Trinidad and Tobago- El Salvador, Guatemala-Dominican Republic and Cuba -Mexico.
