Cuba attends London International Tourism Fair

HAVANA, Nov 5 (ACN) Cuba attends the 40th edition of the International Tourism Fair World Travel Market 2019, held from Monday to Wednesday at its usual venue in London.

The Cuban delegation is headed by the Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero Cruz, who is accompanied by directors of the hotel chains Gaviota, Cubanacan, Gran Caribe and Islazul, and several associates.
According to the program, the delegation will take the opportunity to update on the tourist potential of Havana, about to celebrate its 500 years; Matanzas, the country's keys, Holguin and Santiago de Cuba, as major regions of interest to the British market.
Cuba will also launch Fitcuba 2020, which this year will be held in Varadero, Matanzas, dedicated to Russia as the guest of honor and to the Sun and Beach modality, according to a statement from Cuba's Ministry of Tourism.
On the other hand, Cuban Chamber of Commerce states on Twitter that a Cuban delegation will attend the second China International Import Expo (CIIE), a key platform to establish contact with Chinese buyers-suppliers and close international deals.
The CIIE, to be held from November 5-10 in Shanghai, China, comes after the 15th edition of the Cuba-China Business Committee, attended by more than 170 Chinese and Cuban businessmen and authorities from the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
