Cuba and Slovakia strengthen economic relationsHAVANA, Cuba, May 14 (acn) Ricardo Cabrisas, Cuba´s Vice President of the Council of Ministers, met Mr. Richard Raši, Deputy Prime Minister of Investments and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, who is in Cuba on a working visit.

In the meeting, both authorities exchanged about the current bilateral relations and the perspectives of their development and expressed satisfaction with the progress of mutual cooperation, mainly in the energy sector.
They signed an agreement for the Consolidation of Economic Relations, which aims to support and develop investments and infrastructure between both nations, as well as encourage scientific and technological collaboration.
The Slovak delegation was also made up by Mr. Roman Hostak, Slovak ambassador in Cuba, and by officials of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs from the European country.
Meanwhile, Raul Garcia Barreiro, Minister of Energy and Mines; Ileana Nuñez Mordoche, Vice Minister of MINCEX; Emilio Lozada Garcia, General Director of MINREX Bilateral Affairs, and Isaac Hernandez, Director of the Central Bank of Cuba, were some of the domestic officials who attended the meeting.
