HAVANA, Cuba, May 13 (ACN) The II Trade Convention Cuba 2019, which will be inaugurated this Monday in this capital, has the objective of achieving feasible proposals that have a positive impact on the sector and can soon be implemented.
The event, which brings together more than 400 participants at the Havana Convention Center, will run till May 17. It is a favorable framework for debate and exchange of experiences and knowledge, with the presence of executives, specialists and experts of recognized national and international prestige.
The need for multidisciplinary integration for consumer protection and knowledge management in the implementation of the new economic model in the sector, stand out among the topics to be discussed at the Convention, highlighted the Cuban News Agency Science Doctor Hildelisa Ortiz Perez, president of the scientific committee.
She explained that symposiums and workshops will also be held on the different trade activities such as quality, safety and the environment, logistics, cosmetology, gastronomy and computer techniques.
Conferences, round tables, panels, oral and expository presentations will deal with topics related to the integration and development of commercial activity, announced the organizers of the Ministry of Internal Trade (MINCIN).
Participants will include representatives of marketing entities and productive and service companies, both state and non-state sector, national and international institutions and organizations, universities, research centers and scientific and technological institutes.
As part of the Convention, symposiums, workshops, colloquiums, pre-event courses and an associated exhibition will be held at the event venue, where national and foreign presenters will showcase and publicize their products and services, the source adds.
Looking to the future, for the modernization of commerce, is the fundamental motto of the event that contemplates nine scientific events, including a colloquium on marketing, communication and image, taking into account the need to bring more and more the processes of Marketing and Design to the retail trade.
