HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 19 (ACN) Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, arrived in Qatar on a working visit where he was received by the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Khalifa al Thani and by the Ministers of Finance, Trade and Industry, Ali Shareef Al Emadi and Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, respectively.
He also exchanged views with Hamad Al Kuwari, Minister of State and Counsellor of SA, Emir of Catar.
According to the Cubaminrex website, these meetings took place in an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation that characterize the relations between the two countries, and therefore should contribute significantly to their further strengthening.
Minister Malmierca was accompanied by Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez, Ambassador of Cuba in Qatar; Carlos Méndez, Advisor to the Minister; and Yadirys Echenique, Second Chief of Mission.
