HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 21 (ACN) Cuba will present an update on its economic model during its participation at the 49th World Economic Forum to be held in Davos, Switzerland, according to Prensa Latina News Agency.
The Cuban delegation, headed by the Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Rodrigo Malmierca, arrived to Davos, after traveling to Belgium where he carried out a working visit to examine bilateral economic relations with the Belgium First Vice Minister and Economic and Employment Minister Kris Peeters.
The Cuban official met with the Belgium President of the Chamber of Commerce, Bernard de Gerlache as well as business executives to promote investment on the island.
Malmierca confirmed in his Twitter account that next March a dialog on sustainable development will be held in Havana after his meeting with European commissioners Neven Mimica and Christos Stylianides in charge of International Cooperation and Development and Humanitarian Aid and Management Crisis, respectively.
Rodrigo Malmireca ended his working visit with an exchange with the distributors of Habanos S.A, who recognized their hard work in surpassing the plan of exports to Belgium, Luxemburg and Denmark, according to PL.
