Cuba participates in China's International Import Exhibition

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 6 (ACN) Cuba is participating in the International Exposition of Imports from China with a delegation of more than 30 companies and institutions, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba and the Embassy in Beijing.

The delegation has the objective of diversifying the exportable offer of products and services, as well as the promotion of the portfolio of investment opportunities among Chinese entrepreneurs.
The Cuban delegation has planned an extensive program of meetings with their counterparts, participation in various sectorial forums, as well as the holding of a Business Forum on November 8 to promote the business environment and foreign investment in Cuba, in which is expected the presence of about 200 businessmen of the Asian giant, reported the digital portal Cubaminrex.
Several foreign dignitaries and high officials of international organizations took the floor during the inaugural session.
The China International Import Exposition has been announced as the largest international import exhibition to date and will be open until November 10. It will be attended by 18 heads of state and government, 172 countries and international organizations in a 300,000 square meter exhibition area.
