CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, Jun 21 (ACN) The Jardines del Rey destination is preparing its installations to welcome the national vacationers which is the second market during the summer months.
The sub delegate of the Tourism Ministry in the territory, Lessner Gomez Molina said that currently Canada is the main market in the region with 70 percent of occupancy but the presence of Cuban nationals has also been increasing at 19 percent.
Regarding its preparations he referred that with the exception of the Hotel Tryp Cayo Coco which is currently in the process of modifications, the rest of the installations in the keys are ready for the summer months.
He highlighted that the installations managed by Islazul are very accepted options by the population because its prices are more accessible for families and has the necessary comfort after being refurbished due to Hurricane Irma last September.
The commercialization of a day visit from the city of Ciego de Avila to Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo have begun and a very requested service which is a tourism bus that takes the clients for a day stay at Ranchon Las Dunas which belongs to Palmares.
A novelty this year is a trip from the key to the main city to visit attractive sites like the Hotel Ciego de Avila, the Zoo and nights in the boulevard.
The commercial fairs that are held every weekend in the Marti Park and city of Moron offers modifications in the prices for hotel stays, said Gomez Molina.
Jardines del Rey currently has 17 hotel installations distributed in 7 thousand 173 rooms and another 500 will be incorporated at the end of the year with the opening of the west wing of the Hotel Punta Raza.
