Cuba and Turkey to Create Business Committee

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 5 (ACN) Cuba and Turkey will create a Business Committee with the aim of increasing their economic and trade relations, reported today from Istanbul Prensa Latina (PL) agency
Ileana Núñez Mordoche, the island's deputy foreign trade minister, who is visiting the European nation, and her Turkish counterpart will sign the constitution.

According to the parties, this is the first step towards formalizing the commitment expressed by both governments to increase their economic and trade relations.
Ileana Núñez, who heads an important Cuban trade delegation, will hold a meeting with executives of the Export Credit Bank (Eximbank) of Turkey.
Representatives from the island will make a presentation on trade opportunities and investment opportunities in Cuba at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce headquarters.
The delegation will also visit the Chamber of Industry of the first Turkish city, where they will also convey to its members the interest in establishing collaboration mechanisms in various sectors.
The programme includes visits to the Acibadem University Medical School, Altunizade Hospital and the Abdi Ibrahim pharmaceutical industry.
