Sancti Spiritus Exhibits Tourism Attractions in FitCuba 2018SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba, May 3 (ACN) Sancti Spiritus has its history, culture and beautiful landscapes which is being exhibited at the 38 th International Tourism Fair, FitCuba 2018 underway at the keys north of the province of Villa Clara.

The representative of the Tourism Ministry in the province, Reiner Rendon, said that having both treasures like Trinidad and city of Sancti Spiritus, two of the villas founded by the Spanish colonizers turns them into a must visit by tourists mainly from Germany, France, Italy and Canada, which are Cuba's main markets.

The directive told the press that the historic centers of these two cities, with over five centuries old have high heritage and cultural values that make them unique and continue attracting thousands of vacationers; that is why our interest in exhibiting them in this edition of the tourism fair with the participation of representatives from 52 countries.

He added that with the objective of exhibiting the diversity and hotel and extra hotel options of Trinidad and Sancti Spiritus, a stand was opened to show promotional videos, printed and digital publications and the services of leading companies that welcome tourists.

The specialist said that among the entities that are participating in FitCuba 2018 that takes the most genuine of the traditions of the territory also favored by its excellent beaches on the Ancon Peninsula is Artex S.A., Music House of the city Museum of the Caribbean and the National entity for the Protection of the Flora and Fauna.

The private sector of the city of Trinidad is also participating in the fair, as an example of the relevance acquired of the self-employed in the diversification and the increase in the quality of the proposals with its growing hostels and restaurants.

Rendon said that the villa, located south of the province and whose historic center was declared World Heritage Site will receive some 140 tour operators and national and foreign journalists next May 8th, like Postur, event that will facilitate a close look at other spaces of the national territory.

This will be a unique opportunity for the visitors to appreciate, for example, the sites and details of Topes de Collantes, located some 800 meters above sea level and where an exuberant vegetation standout including the renowned Caburni Waterfalls.

The Hotel Sercotel Experience Cayo Santa Maria is hosting the 38 th edition of the International Tourism Fair, FitCuba 2018 dedicated this year to the Sun and Beach product with the UK as guest of honor.
