CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, Jan 24 (ACN) The Pina Colada Fusion Music Festival will be held in April in the province of Ciego de Avila with international participation for the first time this year expanding its options in Jardines del Rey Tourism Complex.
The organizer of the event and Director of the musical group El Talisman, Arnaldo Rodriguez told the press that this is an option in accordance with the interests of tourists that want to learn about the country's culture.
He added that dance schools were contacted to include classes for recreational alternatives.
This will be without a doubt, a new element to celebrate the 15 th anniversary of a project that has brought lots of satisfaction to Arnaldo, above all with the participation of large amount of young people, according to the musician.
This year's objectives is for a different design of the event: concentrate on the stage and improve the proposals, from the point of view of image.
Arnaldo added that coordination is underway for the festival always with the support of the people which are the main reason of the cultural event.
A note published in the Avilena Television's website announced that among the possible participates are Buena Fe, Eduardo Sosa, Raul Torres, Haydee Milanes and Diana Fuentes, and the musical group Van Van, Vocalite and Tendencia.
A tribute to the 70th anniversary of the creation of the local musical group Intermezzo and the continuation of the sessions of the Cultural and Youth and Society colloquium gathering specialists and those interested in the field at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Pedagogical University in Ciego de Avila.
The main spaces for the presentations will be the city of Ciego de Avila at the Camilo Cienfuegos Square, Artex Patio, Youth Creator House, the branch of the Writers and Artists Association and the Mulato Acelearo Patio.
According to the program, the concerts will be performed in the communities that were affected by Hurricane Irma last September.
