FitCuba 2017 for Tourism of Peace and Security

Holguin, Cuba, May 3 (ACN) With the unveiling of the plaque "For a tourism of peace and security" in homage to the historic speech given by the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, the International Fair of Tourism FitCuba 2017 was inaugurated at Playa Pesquero Hotel in Holguìn.

The plaque was unveiled by Manuel Marrero, Cuba´s Tourism Minister, accompanied by Amgard Wippler, head of the Division General Issues on SME Policy of Germany, honor guest country of this event.
During the opening ceremony, Fidel referred then to the breadth of non-hotel offers through recreational centers, museums, specialized clinics, shops, nautical sports and cultural offerings as well as the facilities for conventions and congresses of their facilities.
The hospitality and fraternal spirit of its population, combined with the interest aroused by the achievements of the Revolution and the paths taken in its social development, he assured, are and will be attributes of great attraction for visitors.
On that occasion, the commander in chief noted that it was necessary to have a peaceful tourism that children and families can enjoy, healthy recreation, culture and rest, without casinos or games, without drugs or crimes in the country that, with a general and integral culture.
Today, the Playa Pesquero hotel, a five stars facility belonging to Gaviota hotel group has about a thousand rooms and the decoration of its facilities reflects the most indigenous traditions of the region with the reproduction of personalized elements such as the oldest train in Holguin.
