Havana, Cuba, Apr 18 (acn) The First Trade Convention will spark debate, exchange and dialog in the role of trade and services in the country's economic development starting from the updating of new management models for the sector.
According to Odalis Escandell Garcia, First Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade (MINCIN), the event is scheduled from May 15th to the 19th at Havana's Convention Center and will serve as a site to analyze the importance of a market study of services and trade.
She added, that it will also allow a scientific look at the comprehensive systems of management and an analysis of experiences and outcome with the application of quality systems and metrology as a key factor in the value of the services to the population.
The convention has other events which include a colloquium on communication and image; tendencies and challenges of communication in trade and identity and image as a key element in the personality of an organization.
The conference will include national, regional and international entities, universities, research centers, scientific and technological institutions, commercial institutions, productive firms, and services, both state and non-state sectors.
Mirelys Gonzalez Batista, of the organizing committee pointed out that the forum has generated great expectations and stirred up interest in researchers, executives, specialists and technical personnel in general.
