Cuban Hotel Group Gran Caribe Presents in Italy Tourist Novelties

NAPLES, Italy, Oct 12 (acn) The Cuban hotel group Gran Caribe presented in Italy its tourist novelties for the winter season in Cayo Largo del Sur, considered to be one of the most attractive spots for the Italian market.

As reported by Prensa Latina, the hotel group is part of the delegation of Cuban and Italian tour operators that carry out a tour of five cities in the European country for the presentation of the Cuba product.
Livan Hernandez, commercial director of the Cayo Largo del Sur Company, belonging to Gran Caribe, said that the Playa Blanca Hotel will operate as of November under management contract with the Spanish Iberoestar company.
Similarly, the Pelicano Hotel will be managed by the Gran Caribe hotel group, and will open all year round -it was seasonal until now-, with more opportunities for exploitation, something very important because the facility enjoys very good acceptance on the market, not only Italian, but also Canadian.
Hernandez also announced the opening of Villa Iguana, fully refurbished, like Villa Capricho, which will provide a complex of another 200 rooms.
Also, together with the development of hotel and nautical activities, diving is being fostered in order to increase both the Canadian and the Italian markets.
In addition, new operations are developed with Italian clubs with good results reflected in the presence of a greater number of visitors from that nation.
Cayo Largo del Sur is a destination that began operations in 1982 and the only way to reach it is by air, unlike the rest of the Cuban tourist cays.
Paraiso Beach, third best in the world according to a survey by Trip Advisor, and Sirena Beach, the sand of which has the unique peculiarity that is not heated despite the impact of the sun, are located in this area of western Cuba.
