HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 9 (acn) Cuban tourism keeps its growing trend, a fact proved when it reached the three million visitor mark 39 days before than in 2015.
A statement issued to the press by the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) reads that this figure represents a 12 percent growth to last year's, when the island nation received some 3.5 million tourists.
The press release adds this feat was possible thanks to the workers of this industry, along the cooperation of many entities and the support by the Cuban people and government.
This result translates into a bigger commitment for the Ministry, the note reads, as long as to work to improve the quality of services, and to diversify the offers.
The goal is to increase revenues that can be used to develop the country and to improve the well-being of the Cuban people, concludes the text.
