HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 17 (acn) Representatives of Czech companies of sectors such as renewable energy, sugar, food and agriculture, construction and transport, will hold a meeting with their Cuban counterparts on September 21 in this capital, in order to identify business opportunities.
According to the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, the forum will be a favorable occasion to present companies of the Czech Republic interested in making economic alliances with the island.
The Parque Central Iberostar Hotel will be the venue of the meeting, which will contribute to boost bilateral cooperation, added the source.
Among the Czech companies that will participate in the meeting are Le Mars Group, supplier of LED technology for industrial lamps, and Inekon Power, dedicated to deliver technological equipment used in the electric engineering sector and to other infrastructure projects related to transport and construction.
As part of ongoing socioeconomic changes, Cuba seeks to diversify its commercial relations and attract bigger flows of foreign capital, for the development of 12 prioritized sectors.
With this purpose, the island has business portfolio, the third updating of which will be officially presented in the next edition of Havana's International Trade Fair, FIHAV 2016, scheduled to begin on October 31 and end on November 4.
