Cuban economy minister wraps up visit to Iran

HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 16 (acn) Cuban Vice-President and Minister of Economy and Planning, Ricardo Cabrisas, paid a three-day official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, where he met several top authorities
Cabrisas met with Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati advisor on international affairs to the Supreme Leader of Iran and delivered a message from Cuban President Raul Castro to Khamenei

During the talks, Velayati expressed his admiration for the Cuban Revolution and pointed out that the Cuban people's resilience has allow it to achieve many victories and become the center of revolutionary expectations in Latin America
The Cuban minister was received by the Iranian President Hassan Rohaní. Both leaders spoke of the bilateral relations in different areas, and of the international situation.
During those meetings, Cabrisas reiterated to his hosts Cuba´s willingness to continue strengthening its historical relations of friendship and cooperation with Iran
