HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 22 (acn) Members of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) recovered the electronic cards that control the special equipment at Jose Marti International Airport.
These are very expensive technology in the international market which would cost some 3 thousand dollars per unit for the State to purchase, said Ricardo Baro Fernandez, technician at Terminal 3 of the Havana airport.
He explained that it was necessary to construct several indispensable revisions in order to carry out the work of hydraulic-electro means.
The specialist highlighted the participation of other workers and entities in the successful conclusion of the work which is important in services offered to passengers once they arrive at the airport terminal.
Baro added that many of the electric escalators that is currently in use have several years of exploitation and have ruptures that delay the service. This solution to the problem contributes in reducing the presence of the passenger in the airport.
This innovator will be one of the representatives of Havana and of the Ministry of Transportation to the ANIR National Exhibition to be inaugurated on Friday at the Expocuba Fair.
The event which will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the organization foresees the presentation of some one thousand 500 works of innovators and work groups from across the country.
