Puerto Rican Solidarity Brigade Arrives in CubaARTEMISA, Cuba, Jul 11 (acn) With actions dedicated to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro on the occasion of his 90th birthday, the Puerto Rican Juan Rius Rivera Solidarity- with-Cuba Brigade arrived on Monday at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp of Caimito, Artemisa.

In its 25th edition, the brigade also recalls the 60th anniversary of the landing of the Granma yacht with Fidel and his comrades in arms on board, and supports the Eighth Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba that will be held in Santo Domingo at the end of this month, according to information provided by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
Composed of about 100 activists, the group will stay on the island until July 27, and will carry out visits to the cities of Santa Clara, Granma, Holguin and Trinidad, among other activities.
They will have the opportunity to hold exchanges with the members of the Jose Marti European Brigade with whom they will attend the screening of the documentary "The fight against Ebola in Africa," in which the participation of Cuban physicians was decisive.
