HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 13 (acn) Cuban government vice-president Ricardo Cabrisas met with the president of Tatarstan Rustam Minnijánov, during a visit to that Russian republic.
During the meeting, Cabrisas and Minnijanov addressed the increasing economic and trade relations between their nations, particularly in the area of automobile transportation, the petrochemical industry and biotechnology.
The talks precisely took place in the city of Naberzhniye Chelny, which hosts the manufacturer of trucks of the trademark KAMAZ, where Cabrisas met with company director Serguei Kogoguin.
The two sides expressed satisfaction about the increasing participation by KAMAZ company in the Cuban social and economic development plan till 2020.
Vicepresident Cabrisas began a working visit to the Russian Federation to participate at the 20th International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg and meet with the co-presidents of the Cuba-Russia Intergovernmental Commission and other activities on his agenda.
