HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 29 (acn) With an updated business portfolio in its tourism sector, Cuba will attend the 27th edition of the International Tourism Fair (BTL 2016), in Lisbon, Portugal, on March 2-6.
According to the Tourism Ministry (Mintur), Cuba's participation in that Fair responds to the interest of strengthening links with professionals in this sector, as well as promoting the diversity of the so-called entertainment industry in the Caribbean island.
At the BTL, the Cuban mission will show professionals and the public the novelties of the Cuban tourist product in its main destinations: Havana, Varadero, Trinidad, the northern keys of Villa Clara (Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo), Holguin and Santiago de Cuba.
The meeting will be also favorable to promote the 36th edition of the International Tourism Fair FITCUBA, to be held on May 3-7 in Havana - one of the seven wonder cities of the world, this time dedicated to culture and heritage and to Canada as guest country.
