Cuba and Nicaragua to Sign New Bilateral AgreementHAVANA, Cuba, Mar 31 (acn) A new Bilateral Agreement on Aerial Transportation will be signed on Tuesday in this capital by representatives of the governments of Cuba and Nicaragua, with the purpose of replacing a similar agreement dating from 1980.

The document will update regulations in terms of aerial transportation between the two countries and will perfect the work of airlines operating in these routes. It will also strengthen the movement of passengers, cargo and mail in both directions.
Likewise, in an exclusive interview with ACN, Doctor in Sciences Mayda Molina, director for Aerial Transportation and International Relations of Cuba's Institute of Civil Aeronautics (IACC), informed that the agreement will be signed at the Puerto Principe Hall of Havana's Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
Signing the document on behalf of the two governments will be Captain Carlos Salazar, Director General of the Nicaraguan Civil Aeronautics Institute, and Master of Science Alfredo Cordero, President of the IACC, she pointed out.
