HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 30 (acn) The participation of Cuban cooperatives in the 2nd Fair for Conciliation and Assurance ¨Plan 2016 of the National Economy¨, in this city, endorses the recognition of the country to this form of management, which extends in search of greater dynamism and efficiency.
Expocuba´s Central Pavilion serves as headquarters to the 18 collective organizations accredited to that business meeting, which runs until April 2 and will allow the different economic actors agreeing on offers and services that will ensure the planned production processes for the coming year.
La Esperanza Non Agricultural Cooperative, from the town of Fomento, Sancti Spiritus, arrived at the fairgrounds in order to meet new customers and strengthen ties especially with the state sector; one of the difficulties that have slowed its performance during the eight months of operation.
According to Pavel Sánchez, economic director of that company, that was precisely the main success of Expocuba, as they have already signed seven contracts with entities and exchanged with other 17.
This space has contributed to some extent break the inertia of some companies to establish relationships with new forms of management, he told ACN.
Founded for 11 self-employed, La Esperanza is a pioneer in the production of so-called plastic wood in Cuba, and they sell hydraulic and electrical pipes, plumbing pipes, hoses, elements for agricultural irrigation systems, boxes, formwork and marquetry.
Sanchez said his main customers are the Salt National Comapany, the Business Group of the Food Industry, the National Drug Trading Company and cooperatives.
The cooperative Crea Entorno attends the fair not only to offer its handmade inventions, but also interested in acquiring inputs needed in order to produce works as utilitarian and decorative ceramics, stained glass and glass work, fountains for gardens and wooden furniture and ceramics.
"This business meeting is an excellent opportunity to exchange directly with suppliers and consumers, and thus overcome the main difficulty we have had so far: misunderstanding that we are a legal entity with ability to request, on equal terms," said Teresita Gomez, president of the organization.
Participating in the fair has allowed cooperatives to hire their orders directly with customers and suppliers.
Nilo Díaz , commercial director of El Adoquin cooperative, attaches great importance to the event as it has been considered the new forms of management in planning plans for 2016, which confirms the interest of the country to integrate its various economic actors.
