HAVANA, Cuba, Sept 24 (ACN) The new legislation for Cuban economic actors passed in September 18 took center stage in the 5th Networking Cuba Circuit (CNC5), under way in this city.
Law professors of the University of Havana gave three lectures on topics such as financial law, the latest tax regulations for the new economic actors, labor law, and a preliminary approach to economic law.
Likewise, a panel of experts gave the attendees an update on the new regulation and its bylaws, with stress on key terms such as corporate social responsibility and effective resilience, and referred to the need for a General Board of Partners, corporate entities and multi-person companies, among others.
Particular emphasis was made on the services available to workers and their families, including training, inclusive employment, and moral and material incentives, as well as on issues such as environmental protection, renewable energies, recycling, circular economy, consumer protection, and community-oriented social development programs.
