HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 10 (acn) A Cuban business delegation visited the Saudi city of Riad to explore, along with Saudi entrepreneurs, business opportunities and possibilities to develop joint ventures, according to diplomatic sources.
The Cuban delegation was headed by the general director of the Foreign Trade Entrepreneurial Group Gecomex, Aurelio Mollineda, who met in Riad with representatives of the Saudi Development Fund and with directives of industrial groups.
According to PL news agency, the Cuban embassy in Riad said that the exchange was part of ongoing efforts to promote bilateral economic and cooperation relations between Cuba and Saudi Arabia.
The Cuban Gecomex Entreprenurial Group was set up in 2013 as part of the current update of Cuban economy and it groups 21 companies in the area of foreign trade.
