Cuban authorities analyze economic results in western province

 ARTEMISA, Cuba, Mar 21 (ACN) Sawn lumber, potatoes, charcoal and rice are items that the agricultural sector in Artemisa is in non-compliance; the causes that affect this situation were evaluated in an exchange between the main authorities and cadres.

Sergio Suarez Bermudez, general director of Artemisa Business Group( UEB by its Spanish acronym), deepened in the situation of the debts of the trade and transport sector, at the same time that he foresaw a recovery for the second quarter.

Gladys Martinez Verdecia, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CCPCC), and first secretary of the Provincial Committee, insisted that the plans were conceived to be fulfilled, and called on the directors to self-manage the solution of their own problems.

Ricardo Conception Rodriguez, Governor of the province, urged to pay due attention to the issue, especially in view of a scenario that is changing with the formation of new budgeted units.

Yoan Molina Blanco, coordinator of government programs and objectives, explained that 26 state entities have not requested land for self-sufficiency. In this section, he highlighted the planted area of the Pork UEB San Pedro, which has food for the pigs.

Artemisa Poultry Company is going through a process of labor availability, hence the call of the province's management to take advantage of this task, produce food and avoid the loss of workers.
