Cuban medium-sized private company offers innovative electric car recharging service

LAS TUNAS, Cuba, Dec 14 (ACN) The medium-sized private company Durkal, in the eastern province of Las Tunas, is getting ready to implement the electric car recharging service, a novel proposal that comes to complement the management of the enterprise, which is already established with more than a decade of work in this province.

Jose Antonio Brizuela Bernardo, general director of Durkal, exclusively told the Cuban News Agency that the service is currently active as a response to the need to keep the business's own means of transportation, most of them electric, in operation.

The aspiration is to open the possibility to the population and to any form of management that demands this assistance, either in a fixed space or in an itinerant way, in case any equipment of this type runs out of charge in the middle of the road, said the young entrepreneur.

Brizuela Bernardo indicated that the proposal has already been submitted to government authorities, with the projection of implementing the service throughout the province based on the use of Durkal's accumulative recharging systems, as well as the aspiration of doing it through photovoltaic panels for a total independence of the electro-energetic services.

Durkal, a business that after eight years of work became a medium-sized private company, in December 2021, with about twenty workers, seeks to expand its offerings beyond the restoration and repair of automotive equipment.

What once began as technical assistance for electric motorcycles and cars, Brizuela Bernardo added, now has an automotive parts store with batteries and tires among its most in-demand products.

Durkal was one of the enterprises of this territory that participated at the 39th Havana International Fair, last November, an opportunity that, according to its general director, opens a door to the socialization of experiences and the creation of new commercial alliances with other companies inside and outside Cuba.
