Cuban eastern company launches new product

LAS TUNAS, Cuba, Dec 12 (ACN) The Engineering and Technical Sugar Services Enterprise (Tecnoazucar) of Las Tunas launched a new product as a result of the exploitation of the Feed Mill that the entity owns and the desire to enter the market to obtain a high economic and social impact.

Miguel Abreu Larramendi, director of Tecnoazucar in this eastern province, told exclusively to the Cuban News Agency that the refined soybean oil is already certified by the corresponding sanitary authority and suitable for human consumption.

The new product was created thanks to Tecnoazucar's possibility of being a soybean producing company first, for a greater utilization of the Feed Mill, which allowed the collection and roasting of the grain, then proceeding to the extraction of the oil and finally its refining, said the director.

Abreu Larramendi added that with a good density and flavor, to date there are six workers' canteens of the company using this product, in response to the line they maintain in developing high impact goods and services.

Although in this first stage only Tecnoazucar's workers' is benefiting, the plan is to achieve the integration with all the actors of the economy in order to expand and diversify production, since the company of the AZCUBA Business Group aspires to go beyond the commercialization in the national and international market of sugar, its derivatives and agricultural products.
