LAS TUNAS, Cuba, Dec 5 (ACN) The Grain Agroindustrial Enterprise in the eastern province of Las Tunas is working on the legalization of its commercial brand under the Ager seal, for the positioning of its products in the national and international markets.
With the production of grains and cereals as its main corporate purpose, the entity expects to seek alliances and linkages with the state and private sector, while seeking to diversify its main sources of income.
Omar Perez Lopez, general director of the company, told the Cuban News Agency that they also focus on the production of flour and feed as protein sources for animal use, in view of the demand for these inputs, especially for poultry and pig breeding.
The intention, the executive added, is to promote all production with the Ager line as a commercial identity in the variety of grains from peanuts, rice, beans and corn, as well as the derivatives of these products.
We also provide other specialized engineering services in the transportation of cargo for the agricultural sector, land preparation and the improvement and transformation of the countryside with technological equipment and advice to producers and farmers, Perez Lopez pointed out.
A sustained guarantee of inputs will allow in the medium term the production of refined vegetable oil from sesame and peanuts, as well as the processing of raw materials in the territory's modern Grain Processing, Drying and Packaging Plant, he concluded.
