SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Dec 10 (acn) With the arrival of some 90 passengers of Argentina, Uruguay, Guatemala and Peru, from Panama, Copa Airlines started flights, twice a week, to the Abel Santamaria International Airport of this city.
The arrival of this Panamanian aircraft is part of a program devised for the winter season, the high season in terms to travelers' arrival in Cuba.
Adolfo Sen, sales director of Copa, told the press that these flights will favor the movement of persons from Latin America to Villa Clara, where there are many tourist attractions.
He highlighted that this air connection is a way to expand business opportunities between the two countries.
Sen added that flights between Panama City and Santa Clara will significantly improve Cuba's connectivity with Latin America, due to the transportation of vacationers from some twenty cities.
