HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 10 (acn) Cuba and Russia will identify new business opportunities to strengthen commercial exchanges in strategic areas of their economies, on the occasion of the 7th Session of the Business Committee to he held next week in this capital.
According to a communique by the Chamber of Commerce, the meeting will take place at Havana's Hotel Nacional de Cuba and will be attended by a large representation of entrepreneurs of the Eurasian nation, headed by Dmitri Rogozin, vice-president of the Russian Federation.
Participating in the forum will be Cuban entrepreneurs of sectors like biopharmaceuticals, health, industry, agribusiness, transportation by air and land, communications, energy and mining and tourism.
Economic relations between the two nations are in a qualitatively new stage, with several projects in execution and others under study responding to bilateral interests, stated recently Rodrigo Malmierca, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment.
