NUEVA GERONA, Cuba, Nov 7 (ACN) Nearly 300 Canadian vacationers, most of them returning tourists, have been enjoying the natural beauty and good state of conservation of the Cayo Largo del Sur Ecological Reserve since Nov. 4, when the peak tourist season began in Cuba.
Under the shared administration of Blue Diamond Resorts and the Gran Caribe Hotel Group, the destination received the first guests of the current winter season at the renovated Memories Cayo Largo and Starfish Cayo Largo hotels, as well as at the Linda Mar villa.
Blue Diamond Resorts has become the fastest growing hotel management company in the Caribbean due to its specialization in the creation of exclusive vacation experiences and differential concepts adaptable to the demands and recreational needs of each market, with a diversity of activities difficult to find anywhere else.
The Canadian airline Sunwing connects Cayo Largo del Sur and the North American country with two direct flights a week, for the moment, from Toronto and Montreal, and another two departures from the Quebec and Ottawa air terminals to the Vilo Acuña International Airport, whose infrastructure has also been renovated, are planned for December.
