Havana, Aug 24 (ACN) The Cuban embassy in Belgium hosted the first meeting of the "Visit Latin America" initiative, promoted by Air Europa and the specialized tourism marketing company Glenaki, and representatives from Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and the Dominican Republic, who gave an update on their tourism markets to tour operators, travel agencies and specialized media.
Yaira Jimenez, Cuban ambassador to Belgium, pointed out that the event was a good opportunity to give details about the culture, traditions, culinary art and natural wealth of Latin American destinations bent on reactivating this industry after COVID-19.
Cuba's regional tourism advisor Diana Rosa González remarked in turn that these meetings give tour operators and journalists more arguments to promote tourist travel.
