SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Oct 30 (acn) The winter tourism season and the opening of new air operations will begin in Villa Clara next November 2nd through the arrival of a flight from Poland, first from this country in the history of Abel Santamaria International Airport.

Jesus Diaz- Canel, director of the National Tourist Information Office (INFOTUR by its Spanish acronym) in Villa Clara, told ACN that the movement of COPA airlines from 18 important cities in Central America to Santa Clara will be a major success.
There is an arrival forecast of about 300 000 passengers, for a rise of 15 percent since next November to April 2015 when compared with the same preceding stage.
The effort to continue the tourism growth includes travelers from traditional sources such as Canada , Argentina and France, he said.
