HAVANA, Cuba, May 30 (ACN) Cuba will host the 24th edition of the MITM Americas (Meetings & Incentive Travel Market), considered the oldest business tourism fair in the Americas and the Caribbean, from September 4 to 7 at the Varadero beach resort.
According to a Prensa Latina, the organizing committee announced today that the event will gather around 50 international buyers, executives from corporate companies, incentive and luxury agencies, as well as international associations, event planners, congress organizers and tour operators focused on MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions).
Organized by GSAR Marketing and sponsored by the Cuban ministry of tourism, Meliá Hotels and Cubatur, the event will provide an opportunity to learn about the international offer and the world of possibilities that Cuba has to offer in this type of tourism, as well as its events through the exclusive Networking program.
For the fifth time the fair returns to Cuba, and this time it will be held at the emblematic Meliá Varadero Hotel, the largest congress center on the island.
GSAR Marketing, the main organizer of the fair, is a global tourism marketing company that is part of the Convenco Group, the first "Incentive House" in Spain founded 46 years ago, in 1973.
