HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 21 (acn) Encouraging foreign investment is the priority of the 32nd Havana International Trade Fair to take place November 2-8 at Expocuban exhibit ground, in the outskirts of the city capital.The fair is no longer aimed at only promoting trade, but also at boosting foreign investment, said Orlando Hernandez, president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and he noted the event will promote the Special Development Zone in the Mariel harbor and the new Cuban Foreign Investment Law.
Spain, Venezuela, Brazil, Russia and China are expected to have the largest business delegations at the fair, according to PL news agency.
Cuban companies will exhibit products from the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors as well as the export of services and non-traditional production lines.
