Eastern Cuban company boots acrylic paint manufacturing in support of construction programs

HOLGUIN, Cuba, Oct 25 (ACN) The Holguin Medano Construction Materials Company is making available the manufacture of acrylic powder paint, as a support to the construction programs promoted in this eastern province.

Jose Gutierrez Aguilar, technical director of the entity, told the Cuban News Agency that this material is of recent production, which began in September with the first tons, some of them destined to Cuban agencies such as Escambray Trading Company, the Provincial Supply Company and Almacenes Universales.

For this month, he said, it is expected to manufacture around six tons of this material, made from calcium carbonate, acrylic and cellulosic additive.

This paint is recommended for use on inside masonry walls, after mixing the powder with the indicated proportions of water; only the necessary quantity to be used at any given time should be prepared.

Medano Company is also dedicated to the manufacture of other resources, mainly directed to housing programs, among which are blocks of different dimensions, mosaics, granite, gravel and artificial and mined sand.
