Ordering task boosts results in Cuban mining industry in center of the country

SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Jul 2 (ACN) Growth in profits, efficiency, sales and commercial production, the latter above 110 million pesos in the first half of the year, are benefited by the implementation of the Ordering Task (economic) in the Central Geomining Enterprise.

Argelio Abad Vigoa, general director of the entity in Villa Clara, told the Cuban News Agency that the positive impact is shown in the link with the Marta Abreu de Las Villas Central University, among other effects for the elaboration of low carbon cement.

He pointed out the productive linkage with agriculture, in the production of organo-mineral fertilizers based on fertilizers that exist in the country for the substitution of imports, as well as animal feed based on salts and minerals.

Abad Vigoa referred to the manufacture of construction materials, deodorants and perfumed talcum powder of a range of articles and services that result in elements of well-being for the population.

Geological research and prospecting also achieve beneficial effects in the search for reserves of raw materials necessary for the national economy, he said.

A favorable impact is appreciated in the distribution of profits among the workers, the contribution to the economy of the municipality and the increase of goods that guarantee the income, the executive concluded.
