International events on Accounting and Business Management opens today in Havana

HAVANA, Nov 27 (ACN) Under the auspices of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC), the 13th International Meeting on Accounting, Auditing and Finance and the 4th Meeting on Business Management and Direction will run from today until Saturday at the Convention Center in Havana.
The events will undoubtedly be a precious and timely contribution of the professionals of those sciences aiming to dynamize the Cuban economy and especially to improve the leading role of its main actor, the socialist state enterprise, as guided by President Miguel Diaz Canel and is included in the documents approved at the 7th Congress of the Cuba Communist Party and in the new Constitution.
Attendees will discuss the role of Financial and Managerial Accounting in the good performance of organizations, the harmonization of International Financial Reporting Standards, the practice of independent and governmental auditing, the development of Internal Control, and successful experiences and innovations in management and business management, both state-owned and cooperative, mixed or private.
According to the scientific agenda, there will be debates about the design and implementation of public policies that support the successful development of the business sector, the efficiency of public administration in its relations with entities, local development and the integration of economic actors, all to raise the impact of economic management on sustainable and socially responsible development.
